● Alfacalcidol, a vitamin D3 analog, promotes active intestinal absorption of calcium and phosphate, enhances bone mineralization[1].
● Alfacalcidol is indicated for the treatment of osteoporosis, chronic renal failure, hypoparathyroidism, vitamin D-resistant rickets and osteomalacia.
Recommended dosage: 0.25 to 0.5 μg once daily.
